50 State Brokerage

Broker of Record Pricing

Broker of record engagements typically range from $500 to $5,000 per state per month depending on transaction volume, MLS access needs, trust account activity, and compliance scope. Month-to-month, no long-term contract.

How much does a broker of record cost?

Single-state engagements typically run $500 to $1,500 per month. Multi-state engagements for PropTech platforms, SFR investors, and national property managers typically blend $1,500 to $3,500 per state per month. Enterprise engagements for institutional funds and REITs run $3,500 to $5,000 or more per state per month.

Is there a setup fee?

For standard single-state and multi-state engagements, no. Enterprise engagements with custom API work or bespoke compliance workflows may include a one-time onboarding fee.

How does it compare to getting your own license?

Getting your own broker license costs $1,500 to $5,000 per state in fees, 60 to 180 days of coursework and exam prep, and ongoing per-state renewals, continuing education, and E&O insurance. For a company operating in two or more states, a broker of record is materially cheaper.
